A student of Keld Moseholm, she is the recipient of the Ottilie McLaren Wallace Prize at The Royal Scottish Academy of Art. She has exhibited widely in Denmark and beyond.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Crawford works figuratively in bronze. Crawford\u2019s broad artistic background including drawing and painting, as well as her medical degree gives her an extensive understanding of proportions and movement in both man and animal. She works in the realm of Magic realism. Thus her works has depth and duality, whether the subject matters are inspired by myths, literature or the present political landscape.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Art critic Tom Joergensen writes: \u201cBesides all the beautiful, humorous and erotic representations of self-contained women, fairytale figures and rearing horses, something more serious and fierce has emanated\u2026. To me there is no doubt. Crawford is one of the best, most imaginative and most relevant sculptors in Denmark today\u201d<\/p>\n
